Hi My 4 year old Frigidaire front load washer will not wash or spin. Only fills up and drains. Runs through cycle, but just fills with water,sits,drains. Fills for rinse cycle, sits,drains. Buzzer sounds as if done. Door unlocks.
You need to replace the Motor controller speed asm part number 134149220 they are about 165.00. very easy part to replace you have to remove the back panel and the control board is on the bottom left side two scews and two plugs.

fills with the water but does not go into wash cycle and eventually just drains and shuts off
...We have a Mabe washer/dryer combo...two problems, but the main one now is...sometimes the water just runs and runs...won't fill the washer, but fills part way and then drains little by little, so will just run forever. Tried resetting, unplugging, running spin cycle then trying again....nothing seems to work well. Something with sensors??

My frigidaire washing machine does nothing when the control knob is turned. Washer stopped spinning in middle of cycle so i turned the control knob to the position where it usually drains the water. The water drained out and then afterwards the control knob does nothing else. Washer doesnt fill now or spin.
