The NWZ-E435F Walkman Player can be recharged by connecting it to the running Computer USB port using the supplied USB Cable.The Battery icon will get displayed and indicates the icon during charging.
However, you can try using the AC-U501AD USB charging adapter for charging the Walkman player.

The usb cord of these walkman is very cheap in eBay. Just make sure you'll get it from a US seller with high feedback.

The old one is using SonicStage software which is no longer compatible to your mp3 player. Just use windows media player instead.

you create the playlist in windows media player, then sync the playlist.

Use Windows Media Player 11 or the Media Manager for Walkman.
For the media manager from Sony see the downloads in the support page (first select your operating system to make the downloads appear)

Note:
Before transferring videos use the Content Transfer softwarein the downloads.

I had the same problem. For at least a week. Try pressing the reset button. The reset button won't delete your music, videos, pictures, etc. Just resets your system. If that does not work then i don't know what else to tell you.
