Set up for the internet with rogers as service provider

7.Edit APN to goam.com (lowercase), if not work, try "internet.com"
8.Edit Username to wapuser1

10.Edit Auth Type to Normal
11. Save

Select Back --> Select Back

Select WAP
1.Select Settings --> Edit Profile
3.Select the first entry --> Edit Profile
5.edit the name to whatever you would like
6.Edit Homepage to http://mymobilehomepage.rogers.com
7.Edit Data Account to the Name you established in the First Step
8.Edit Connection type to HTTP
9.The IP address is 208.200.067.150 and the port number is 80
10.Edit Username to wapuser1
11.Edit Password to wap
Select back or done
Select Activate Account

Select Messages --> MMS --> Message Settings
Select Server Profile
Select the first entry
Select Edit Profile
Edit Rename Profile to whatever name you would like
Edit Home Page to http://mms.gprs.rogers.com
Edit Data Account to the same data account you created for WAP
Edit Connection Type to HTTP the IP address is 172.025.000.107 and the port is 80
Edit the Username to media.com
Edit the Password to mda01

Select Done or Save
Make sure to activate the profile and you are good.

To open the GPRS for the settings just go to Service or Network or Internet, not all Sciphone have the same name. after tapping the icon, go to Data Account and then GPRS, and from here change the profile to your wireless carrier set up. To install Java you need to create a folder and name it Java, it needs to be under Mass Storage in the File manager folder. Now, once you have the java file in your computer, don't decompress it, just drag and drop to the Java folder that you just created. To install the file, tap on File manager, Mass Storage, Java, and then tap on the file that you wan to install, when it open, it will prompt you to install, just tap on Install and follow instructions. it should have java already on it and it should have a wirless

I have w395 and i can connect to the net with opera mini...

The only thing to do is manually set the Java Internet setting, (press option in Opera mini then setting... you should create one internet profiles...


Fill it with the same setting you used in the Internet setting...
