12345 is the default code and if you have changed it then try remebering the password.

and if you cannot remember the password then try this on your risk

it will reset all the security codes to 12345.

Just get your battery out for 24 Hours and then try master code. Else you'll have to use Some MT/Sarassoft/Mx Key etc.

Hi,
This is because you have set to ask for password when switched on. you can change this by Menu-> settings -> security settings and there set the 'PIN CODE REQUEST' to OFF.
The default security code may be 0000 or 1111

12345 is its default security no. i had the same problem and i tried it. and it worked .. if 12345 doesnot work then u must reinstall the software..

The default code is 12345. That is if you did not change and forgot it. If forgotten then re-installing the firmware is the only answer. Go to the nearest Nokia Care.

You must enter Security Mastercode instead of lost/forgotten Security Code or Phone Lock code when phone asks for it.
