I'm not sure if this is a printer driver problem or a network problem. I have 3 computers networked (1 Vista, 2 XP)all using a CP1700 through a jetdirect print server. The vista computer works more or less ok, the 2 XP computers will only print 1 copy of a document no matter how many are requested. Any suggestions?

So your printing to a network IP port? I don't this the setup is the problem if the computers see this printer as a network printer. I believe this to be a driver problem. I would try either a 5e or genric driver of some type. I'm not sure what type of printer this is so...

My printers that are on my wireless network won't print

Did you define the printers and printer ports to the laptops?

On the XP laptop go to network connections in the control panel and use the network setup wizard.

Network printing in vista is offline

Is it shared over a network, or is the driver installed on each PC independently? Have you installed the proper Vista drivers on the Vista PC's? The Xp driver is likely not compatible with Vista. It may be (if you used a disc) that it doesn't contain the proper Vista drivers. I would try downloading the proper driver and re-installing on the Vista PC's.

Can't find printer on network

1.How are you attaching to the network printer from your daughters computer? IP address, or by the name of the printer...Also make sure you check you are attaching to the network printer, and not local printer.

2. Install the Microsoft TCP/IP version 6 protocol on both computers by clicking install on your LAN properties, then restart PC. This should work!

I am trying to share a printer.

Are they both under the same network? Can the pc find the laptop under network connections and vice versa? If not, then right-click my computer, go to properties, go to the tab 'Computer Name' click on the button change, and make it part of a workgroup of your choice of name. Do this for both making them part of the SAME workgroup.
Then, make your printer shared under that workgroup.
