New regular gas with ethanol, new spark plug, new filter, it won't start manually, like it's not getting a spark or gas. Why?

Not sure but fairly certain you don't put ethanol in a mower. Most are not designed for ethanol. Some mowers do have a fuse that can go out. Could even be a safety feature malfunctioning if no spark at all. You could try taking bowl off carberator to see if it is full of gas. Needle might be stuck.

change spark plug if that don't work. drain all gas out. inspect the fuel hoses, fuel tank, take carburetor bowl off if you see any dirt debris or water you may need to clean or rebuild the carburetor.

Briggs & Stratton 4 cycle Lawnmower engine no fuel from carberator. Fuel is being supplied to carberator but only runs when starting fluid is used. Gas is new. What's clogged?

the float may be gummed up. or the needle is plugged up.
you need to clean the carburetor, old gas left in the carburetor turns
into shellac and gums up in side. you need to take it apart and clean it.

Will not start

hello sir, mower will not start or run, does it have good spark, good compression,or only runs on full choke, engine surges up and down, are you getting fuel to the engine if not try this, your carb. is clogged up here is what you can do for a simple repair and other things if you want to, you will need a new air filter, spark plug, oil, if you want to a new blade also ,sears has a mini tune up kit that you can buy. now for the carb, empty fuel tank, place mower on side to where carb is facing up place a rag under carb to catch excess fuel, remove the bowl nut and bowl careful of the gaskets, now spray carb cleaner in the small port holes in the carb steam in the middle of the carb until clean, now spray the bowl nut holes until clean there are three, after cleaning put bowl on the same way you removed it with dip towards front of float, put bowl nut in, now while you have mower on side drain the oil remove filler cap to drain, put pan under spout, mower holds 21 o/z of 30 wt oil,you can remove blade to get sharpened or put new one on,to remove blade put a pair of vice grips on the body where the blade can stop and not turn it is usually a 9/16 or 1/2 socket, put blade on add oil,add new and fresh gas,you should be good to go,hope this helps, what i am telling you here is what i would do if it was here in the shop, any comments welcome, thank you.

Engine started fine earlier this spring. Now engine will start but dies instantly. Have replaced spark plug and fuel filter. Suggestions???

Definatly a fuel problem. Start by removeing the air filter Will it run?? Spray in carb. where air filter sets. Will it run?? Keep blowing carb. gleaner in carb as it runs.. If this doesn't correct the problem Clean the carberator.

Try looking at the screw that holds the bowl in place, sometimes they have a little orifice on them that gets clogged and hinder fuel from reaching carb. Use a small pin or small gauge wire to clean. Good Luck...

Remove the bottom bowl of the carberator and replace the needle-valve and float - cleaning this area as you do so.  Sounds like the float has a hole in it or the needle valve in the carb is sticking.  Use some fuel stabilizer prior to storing for winter next time, if not the old gas turns to shellac and makes things stick.
