GE networX security command center keyupad is frozen. I have 2. We replaced the battery that was needed, but before that was done the keypad froze with a shimmering light in the fire zone and a yellow light in the service zone. Our bedroom keypad reset when system was powered down. The other one is frozen. Any suggestions. It won't take any input at all. Should I take it off the wall and try to fix it? Help!

Since you did not list the model I cannot be certain this will help you, however if it is the correct model then there is a service section on page 16 that should help. http://www.elvey.co.za/ProductFiles/d9726436-02b3-48ae-894f-0e03b2e6c072.pdf

I am tyring to buy a replacement door bell/intercom. Where can I find them?

Try contacting the security alarm company for assistance. ADT used this system in the past. You may also want to try a local security service to see if they can source the parts for you.

I dont seem to get power to control panel. battery also not charging

These alarm panels receive 16.5 VAC from a small wall adapter that is wired into the keybus and labeled 'AC'. Have a certified alarm company or installer check your system for faults and get things in order.

Keypad message reading 12volt low battery on three wireless zones. changed out all batteriies and still getting message.

This could be referring to your battery backup for the control panel. Make sure your battery connections are secure and check the batteries' voltage with a multimeter. If it is showing less than 12 volts and has been connected to the control panel for more than 24 hours, the battery is bad and needs replacement. Contact your local alarm company and ask them verify the battery is bad, and they can install a new one for you right then.

Can I adjust the volume on my GE Networx NX-148E keypad?

There are a couple of things you can do, you can silence the keypad via a programming change to the alarm panel, but this requires knowing the installer or 'go' code. On the other hand, you can change the tone of the keypad by pressing * 0 and using the arrow keys to adjust the tone up and down.

Hi Liam here I just installed a networx nx4 and when powered up key pad has 1,2,3,4 flashing rapidly with service light on I was able to get rid of service light but zones still flashing And there is only...

This could be a supervision problem. If zone expanders, gsms, keypads, etc. are added to this alarm panel, you must enroll the device with the control panel. This is done by entering into programming mode ( * + 8 + {go code} ) and then simply exiting programming mode by hitting the exit button. The GE NetworX control panel and it's affiliated compatible devices will auto-enroll after about 15 seconds. The default 'go' code is 9713, but this is usually changed by the alarm company installer.
