My Frigidaire refrigerator single inlet valve Model GLHS66EFSB3 which is three years old is leaking. This valve is green color. I do not know how to take it off without taking the double inlet valve of as it has been mounted on one piece of fixture.

Having a water line freeze in the door is possible but the most likely reason for not getting the dispenser to work is a defective=> WR57X10070 Water Inlet Valve on the dispenser side of the water inlet valve. You are experiencing an inlet water valve water bypass symptom. What is happening is that the inlet water valve is allowing water to drip into the ice maker after the harvest cycle has long since finished. This is a common failure and all brands of refrigerator that are more than 5 years old. Replacing the inlet water valve will correct the over-fill problem. (I actually had to do this on my own 8 year old Maytag refrigerator not 6 months ago.) If you provide a model number I can point you to several on line sources for the inlet water valve.

If you do not have an inline water filter I would recommend that you install one at the time you replace the inlet water valve. It will keep plumbing debris out of the now inlet water valve and ensure a longer service life for same.

Bad water filter or weak water inlet solenoid. Water line to back of fridge goes to inlet solenoid valve. Check it first. Would help to know the manufacture date. If it has a filter at bottom of fridge it will cause leaks and low pressure to dispenser if not changed each year.

MOST OFF THE WATER VALVES ARE DAUL WATER VALVES . CHECK THE OUT LET OFF THE WATER VALVES . IF YOU HAVE WATER IN AND POWER . AND NO WATER OUT YOU HAVE A BAD WATER VALVE

You may have a defective water inlet solenoid valve. replace water inlet solenoid valve for ice maker. Contact Frigidaire Dealer for part by Model and serial number. Replacing the part is reverse of removing old valve located behind refrigerator on right side facing the back. You may have to remove bottom back cover to access. Make sure you reinstall the cover for proper operation.

All you can do is replace the part. I am not sure on frigidaire parts, they use to have 1 year warranty on replacement, some companies have gone to 90 days.
