6cf is actually no connection to ground manual page 8. Check your plug and socket, replace extension lead.

You have a problem with the RCD (residual-current device). This is the part of the plug that you have to push reset on before a current will flow. You can repair this by buying a new RCD plug and rewiring it or if you already have an RCD socket adaptor for another appliance, you can just cut of the plug on the pod/ pump and rewire it into a rubber plug and then plug this into the RCD adaptor and the lay z spa should no longer cut out. The RCD is important because you do not want to blow the unit inside.
I hope this helps, If you need more assistance, please ask.

Alternatively, there could be something blocking the water flow in the unit which would cause the message to come up and the RCD to cut out, so before you take my earlier advice, i would check for signs of blockage in the unit. If not, then proceed.

Lay z spa 6cf error code

This is the REAL answer if you see the 6cf error code it's to do with the plug.

I had the error code 6cf and it took hours to work out what was wrong and it was so simple... the pump unit needs to be plugged straight into the mains plug. Wont go away or work of your using an extension cable.

After I plugged it into the mains plug directly error code disappeared fully working.

Hope this helps people and saves them hours of dread thinking they bought a broken unit.

Why doesnt my leisure bay spa get hot

This could be caused by a couple things. In order for your spa to heat your pump must be working, your heater and heater sensors must be good. If your heater is bad usually the breaker will trip. If that's not happening read below...
Does water shoot out of the jets when you press the jets 1 button? If not then you have a bad pump or the pump is air locked. The heater can't turn on if the pump does not push water through the heater. You'll know if this is happening because you'll get an error code on your control pad.
So your jets are working but no heat. This is the most common problem. Your spa has a sensor that tells the spa if it's ok to turn the heater on. That sensor is prone to failure so everything can be fine but the heater will not turn on. Get the model number off your spa pack and click the link below. Call and tell them you need a pressure switch and give them the model number. Install the new switch and you're back in action.

Lay z spa 6cf problem

Checked pump- works, checked heater- works, checked blower- works, flow switch- work, temperature sensors both 56Ohm at 22degrees 6cf is shown when plugged in. If hold buttons and switch the power I can get the blower and water working for split second and 6cf Cuts off relays. I did not found any water detector/preventing the unit working dry ? Does it have one?? Pump, blower, and heater doesn't have any feedback To the pcb it works through relays, I think something else is throwing 6cf.
Anything else I have missed?

I have a Dream Maker Eclipse spa. We just had the pump replaced, but the tub is getting TOO hot that we cannot even get in it. We opened the housing and see 2 metal heat sensors but they are not attached...

The readout may be getting it's temperature from one of those sensors that are hanging in mid-air, not surprisingly low. Both sensors have to be somewhere that they can read some water temp. One of them probably goes into the piping before the heater so it can tell actual water temperature. The other MAY go in piping after the heater in the event of high water temp, it will shut the heater off. Look for a schematic in and around the spa.
