I have a filip type LG Trackfone (can't see any model # on it) that's over a year or so old. I don't know how to turn it on and need to because my regular service....just discovered has been disconnected (FairPoint uprooted Verizon in my area....been screwing up the bills and now they've shut me off....going full time cellular now....thanks for any help.

all you need is lg downloader or lgnpst software you can google those and a verizon prl. and once you have either of those softwares and the drivers for your phone is installed u can get that from here:http://www.humpa.com/vzw/. and a usb cable for your phone to connect it to your computer and where it says prl/eri u can load the verizon prl and write it to your phone. you will find it in the link i have given. dont look under the part for lg voyager but instead look under the section for LG-VX8500 Chocolate PRL - PRL.
