you have a bad power supply board or mainboard

My best advice would be to call out your LG service repair engineer, it is most likely the current software in the TV is of an older version & will need to be re-programmed which an engineer should be able to check. This should cure the menu problem.

It could be some hardware failure. But lets be optimistic. Try to reset your TV-set to the manufacturers default state. Not sure about the exact procedure but it must be fownd in the "menue", somewhere under "Settings" or "Channel search"!

timberline did you reset the tv to factory setting this may solve the problem

replace capacitor c162 on power supply

power supply was a delta electric dps210ep-2c rev01

reheat any solder joints that don't look 100% as well .
such as c310 .

this is a known working fix . try before you buy a supply .

check to see if our tv timers are on weekly or sleep timers may be causng the problem and shutting down and a given time
