I NEED A FREE SOFTWARE FOR MY LOGITECH WEB CAM C 120

Visit the Logitech website and browse the photo gallery for your model and click on the photo to navigate to the support page.
Note - Older models on page 2 - look for the link at the bottom right of page 1 and click on it "Still can't find your product?"

http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/405/&cl=us,en?prodcrid=405

In addition to the Logitech installer you will need to download Microsoft DirectX 9 or later to support your webcam

Procedure
Close all programs while uninstalling - downloading and uploading software
Disconnect your webcam
Uninstall the current webcam software on your computer
Restart computer
Download the Installation package from Logitech
Run the installer and choose your options during the installation - You may not want Logitech Chat but the Desktop icon for the webcam toolbar is a must.
Connect your webcam when prompted.

Messenger closes attempting to start video call

Have you tried to reinstall the camera drivers, or it might be vista, or net. service.

I have QuickCam 8.3.0 and just bought a new computer with Windows Vista 64 bit ... where can I get a driver for this ? I found drivers that support other windows apps such as XP .. but not for Vista

mgbbgm19,

According to Logitech's support site, the QuickCam Messenger series web-cams aren't supported in Windows Vista. :(

http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/480/3378&cl=gb,en?osid=13

Also, being that it is considered a "legacy device" now, they probably will not invest the time into writing drivers for Windows Vista.

Here is a link to their newer web-cams, almost all of them are vista compatible. You can verify their operating system compatibility under the "Specifications" tab of each products page.

Driverless pc camera is not supporting for vista help me to solve

The only thing you can try is installing under administrative rights the windows xp driver using compatibility mode for windows xp, this has about an 80% chance of working. I did it wiith my logitech cam that is no longer supported by logitech and is not compatible with windows vista and it worked, of course I don't have all the capabilities I had with Windows XP with the cam but it still works for chat etc.

Logitech quick cam pro 9000

Hello!

Logitech does not support Quick Cam Pro 9000 on MAC OS. The only two supported operating systems are Windows XP and Windows Vista.

You might go with a bit more expensive Quick Cam Vision Pro that is supported on Mac.
