Ice in the bin on subzero 632 freezer is in clumps

Have you had a dispenser flapper replaced..if its not sealing (closed) properly it will lead to frost buildup in the location described..

You can check that by looking into ice chute form inside the freezer door and see if any light shines through

Refrigerator - Icemaker Not Dispensing,or Not Making Ice Check that the feeler arm on the icemaker is in the down position and is not blocked. If the icemaker does not have a feeler arm make sure the icemaker paddle is not blocked under the icemaker. For more information on the causes of new icemakers not making ice. The ice cubes in your icemaker may be clumping for a couple of reasons: Low food load: The defrost cycle radiates heat into the freezer. The ice in the freezer will naturally absorb the heat. This will cause the ice to melt slightly during defrost, then eventually freeze together in clumps. Increasing the food load in the freezer will buffer the warmth from the defrost cycle and keeps the ice from melting. Lack of use: When the ice bin is full, the pressure from the weight of the cubes can cause the bottom cubes to fuse and clump. To prevent this from happening, discard the clumped ice and check the bin periodically to ensure the ice is not building up. If you do not use a large amount of ice, move the feeler arm on the icemaker to the up position to turn off the icemaker and stop ice production. For more information on the causes of clumping cubes. I suspect that you've got a leaky ice maker. Do you have clumps of ice in the bin, too? Many times, replacing the ice maker will solve the problem.

Sounds as if the tray is running over. Are the cubes oversized? If you remove the cover (front, usually) from the icemaker you'll probably find a fill adjustment -- a screw with + and - markings. Rotate the screw 1/2 turn in the - direction and see if you notice a reduction in cube size. If it's running over, you may need to make more than one 1/2 turn adjustment.

This could be because the ice is clumped in the ice bin. When the automatic defrost cycle occurs, heat is transferred to the freezer area. This can cause the cubes to melt slightly and refreeze back together. You can take the bin out and give it a good shake, or simply discard the cubes and start over with a fresh batch of ice cubes. By increasing the amount of food in the freezer compartment, you may be able to buffer the heat that comes from the defrost cycle and avoid clumping issues. If you have a large ice bin and hardly use any ice, it is possible that the cubes have gotten stuck together just from the weight of the cubes on top of others.

This sounds like the water solenoid is seeping and needs replaced.

the heating fan which turns on and off for defrosting is eathier stuck and wont start to defrost fast enough its a 35 part if you can do it your self when this happens its the defrost elment is going out

Problem is either that the water is spilling over when the ice tray fills or the ice shut flap is not closing correctly allowing warm air to enter the ice bin. Regards Advisor
