Try with a similar phone to confirm if its the headphone that is faulty of the port where it goes into your phone.

seems like your phone needs an update.take it to your nearest hone repair shop and have them update the phone.

You may loose all your phone data with this method ! you must download bitpim and install it on your computer. then you must download the motorola tools package from their website and install the demo.

you must then plug your phone in with a mini usb cable. if you dont have one, you can get a multi-size adapter kit for about 10 dollars. you must then go into the phone info and manually change your password.

Make sure the text message is not locked. If it is, click on the message and unlock it. Try turning off your phone, too.
