Jvc tv on button flashing on av 48wp34

HI Bonnie,

If you have a good picture when it's on then it points to a dry joint on the circuit board, It is probably round the switching transformer section or the eht section but please be aware of the very high voltages stored in the capacitors and tube.

It might be a loose solder connection inside,try to prove it,the next time it goes blank,firmly give a whack to the back or bottom of the set,if it flashes back......sholud be a loose solder conn that a competent technician can find and repair

Can you please be more specific with the purpose of your capacitor and for which purpose is it?

Sound like you have problem in two major.

1. Check the if there any short component in the primary and secondery side of the power supply.

2. If the component are ok in the power supply.Check in the deflection area.
