Automatic wake up call

HI we have toshiba regza 32" LCD TV. We recently moved it to a bedroom and it seems to switch itself on for a minute or so at 3 a.m. The noise wakes us up. Can anyone tell me how to sort it?

Hi, thanks for prompt reply, the TV is a Toshiba Regza 26 inch 26WLT66 LCD, the alarm is set to zero and the automatic search facility is turned off and it still occurs. The factory reset sounds good. Thanks

Hi,

Could you please tell me your exact model name of your TV? I am not aware of any 32 inch Toshiba model that supports an alarm auto on feature. When you press sleep on your remote...is there an option for alarm? Nevertheless, a reset factory defaults should solve the problem.

I dont know the model of the lcd but i will try help, click the menu button on the lcd or the remote , look for something that say's Timer, Wake up , Alarm , Auto on , Auto power , Auto Switch , if you find any of these option's play around with the setting's there should be a clock type thing to change and a off / on , tab to select , it also maybe under the time/clock options , otherwise on the remote look for a button that when u press, on the screen you will see something like 5 hours, 6 hours, or any time /clock looking display that comes up on the screen, and keep pressing it till it says off or -- , or zero ,

Good Luck

more than likely one of the buttons on the remote was pressed , so its just a matter of finding that button ,

Hi. I have a 42"

The best solution to this problem is to call Toshiba directly and ask for assistance. Any TV repair company/shop will probably charge you an automatic fee to assess the problem, and then tell you it's a very expensive fix. With just the model and serial number of your TV, an easy 5 minutes will get you the answer you are looking for.

TV saya Toshiba Regza 32 " flat, suatu hari

Hallo,
Terima kasih.

Recently I purchased Toshiba REGZA 47 XL 700 E is LED. Is this TV LED ?

Yes and NO your tv is a LED. To be exact it is a LED Backlight LCD TV. An LED-backlight LCD television is an LCD TV that uses LED backlighting instead of the CCFLs used in traditional LCD televisions. It is not a true LED display but is called "LED TV" by some manufacturers.[1] The use of LED backlighting has a dramatic impact, resulting in a thinner panel, less power consumption and heat dissipation, and a brighter display with better contrast levels. You can go to http://www.regza-asia.com/pdf/LEDTV/XL700/47XL700SPEC.pdf and look at the complete specs for your tv

32'' Toshiba Regza difficuut to switch on from plug & standby

The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.
http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; [Exclude the model number], in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

Cracked screen

The LCD screen itself often cost more then the tv set itself. If you have accidental insurance you might see if they cover this, otherwise this will make a nice lava lamp like art display for a bedroom wall.......
