My GE Washer , which is a 9 cycle, 3 spd combination, heavy-duty super capacity. Model #WWSR309OT2WW Serial # DR177051G, is not spinning or rotating at all during the wash and rinse cycles. It fills and emptys , but the tub doesn't move.

Adjust the feet underneath slightly, sounds like one of them is barely touching the ground. A wrench or pliers will be required.

Check the tag where you find the model and serial number, they often list it there. Your owners manual should tell you as well. You might have to call whirlpool (maytag), I cannot find the capacity listed on the tech info. Good luck.

i would check the coupler on this unit
it sits between the motor and transmission
this is a three peice part it is a rather easy repair
just goto appliancepartspro
type in your model number
look in the motor transmission block
motor coupler

if it fills with water then stops check you lid or door switch. will the unit drain or spin if so the the timer may be bad

check the transmission out or it can be a clutch problem
