Ispite of the brightness up to 100% and contrast also at 100% preset is 6500K. still it is very dark, any help to make it more bright would be appreciated even though temperature increases up to max. thanks
The fault could be a faulty inverter board or a faulty CCFD lamp.
The inverter supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp. The CCFL lamp is a mini fluro lamp and can dim with age.

That's an old fashioned CRT. I'd increase contrast at well since it affects how bright the tones get and see if it helps. It should never be dark. It's may be dying.
open the monitor you will see the eht a biggest black part on pcb take the screwdriver and rotate the preset on that eht on which screen is written .do it in active monitor and look on the screen and finish after satisfaction
try to open your tv and you can find the flyback ,in flyback you can see the screen and focus to adjust.use and try to rotate the screen,it control the brightness of your unit
Well most monitors come with 2 preset color temperatures and the option to customize it(the rgb setting). Your monitor has them as well 6500K or 9300K. 6500 is more reddish(like outdoors) and 9300 is more a bluish white(like a tv, i like the 9300 more).
How u said its red and bright, what i would do is set the 9300 preset and if its still too red the customize the RGB by lowering the red. and If too bright then Lower the brightness(Press down on BRIGHTNESS CONTRAST page).
If you don't have the manual you can download the full manual from LG's download site here:
http://www.lge.com/support/manual.
If you see that you can't get it just right, then the monitor might need adjustment from inside and you should make a qualified technician open the monitor and adjust that for you.
Hope this was helpful.
