How can I get a printout of the number of copies printed on my 1320?

Suggest the following as you are not able to connect through the tool box

a. press Go (the green button) for five seconds when the printer is in the ready state.

this will print the configuration page and then the supplies status page for the current toner in the printer.

The Supplies Status page provides information about the print cartridge that is installed in the printer, the amount of toner left in the print cartridge, and the number of pages and print jobs that have been processed. The Supplies Status page automatically prints when a Configuration page is printed from the control panel.

hope that helps

Problem with HP 1320 printer

If the paper size in the word document is set to something other than "letter" example if it is set to legal. Then the lite is lit to let the printer user know it is waiting for him to place a sheet of legal paper in the printer, he does so and then presses the green button to start the print job. You can check this by going to "file-page setup" in word and look for the paper size setting.
