Your Sony camcorder has internal hard-disk and records by default to this media. If this is full, you need to offload the recordings and free up some space on the disk. But to select the memory card you can do the following:
Selecting the recording media for movies: Touch (MENU) [Show others] [MEDIA SETTINGS] (under [MANAGE MEDIA] category) [MOVIE MEDIA SET]. The [MOVIE MEDIA SET] screen appears.
Touch the desired recording media.
Touch [YES] .OK The recording medium is now changed.
For still images: Selecting the recording media for photos Touch (MENU) [Show others] [MEDIA SETTINGS] (under [MANAGE MEDIA] category) [PHOTO MEDIA SET]. The [PHOTO MEDIA SET] screen appears.
Touch the desired recording media.
Touch [YES] .OK The recording medium is changed. Hope this helps, if more help needed, reply back.
With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" (may be called "initialize") and follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Then your card should work.
It simply means that your phone's internal memory has less than 5 mb of free space and the camera require at least 5 mb of space to operate. So you have to free up a minimum of 5 mb from your internal memory.
Hope this will help....cheers:)
This camera has small internal memory like 32MB to store few pictures and shows no memory space message after storing these few picture files. You need to insert memory card in camera and go to menu and select Copy option to copy internal memory images into memory card then take out memory card from camera and delete internal memory pictures one by one or perform format memory to delete all of them at once.
This old picture is on your internal memory. To remove it, remove your memory card...turn on the camera...go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions.
Yes, you need to have memory stick because camera has limited internal memory that can store few pictures only. Put new memory card, format it through camera Menu and copy internal memory pictures to memory stick, take our memory card from camera and delete internal memory pictures either one by one or format internal memory through camera Menu. Thanks.
