First clean the print head and run the test print and then the alignment setup to make sure that the printer is clean and registers correctly. In the Printer Properties (Right click on the printer name via Control Panel - Printers) there is an option tab for Colour Management. Click this and select the source that you need to match the print output to. Also go through all the other tabs in Pinter - Properties as there are many setup options there to setup and tweak the colour balance and adding effects etc. This can be quite a lengthy process but well worth the effort. There is no shortcut to doing this but you will end up with a precisely calibrated custom printer setup that you can save and reuse at any time. I have these profiles defined for my printers for each media type and each ink supplier although I have minimised the number of profiles by now using 1 bulk ink supplier to get consistency between cartridge changes and CISS refills. Note that this may vary when you change print carts or change the media type and manufacturers.
Clean the cartridge by utilites. Make sure in that that all colour there is. In properties of the printer make sure that level of the colour are exposed faithfully. Arouse reinstall the driver.
