Slide small flat screwdriver under of front cover til it clicks and releases continue this all around cover should remove revealing 4 screws holding lcd
I just replaced the relay on my second-hand NEC2010X . It would go out after some period of time, but come back if I unplugged it and then plugged it in again. It finally died altogether, but when I replaced the relay, it worked fine. Apparently this relay is the weak link on many LCD's (probably the only moving part in the whole thing). So open it up, unsolder the relay, and put in a new one.
One of 2 possibilities come to mind.
1, The vga chord is loose on the back of the monitor.
2, Your resolution is set too high or low to be displayed.
The blinking light means that the monitor is either not getting or understanding a signal.
Hope this helps.

power button blinks of and on but screen is black. whats the problem?
My Hyundai ImageQuest L70S 17" LCD Monitor has the same problem of blinking on and off untill it stops working, all ecxept for the green power button light. I have checked the power cord, switched power cords, switched visual cable, used other monitor(no problem), checked video card. The problem is the monitor. If it is a relay that needs replacing someone tell me how to get the cover off this thing. There are four inverted screws (threads instead of trenches).
