The Tracker will upload your data every 15 minutes provided you are within range of any plugged in base station (about 15 feet for direct line of sight), the computer is on and not in sleep or hibernate mode, the software is installed and running, and you have an active internet connection.
While out of range, the Tracker will look for a base station every minute until it syncs your data, after which it will wait 15 minutes before searching again.
You can see when the last successful sync occurred by viewing your main page at www.fitbit.com. Near your profile picture, you will see Synced with a time and date of your last sync.
If you want to force the Tracker to upload its data, place the Tracker on the base station.
While we recommend you sync your data regularly, the Tracker has the ability to store 7 days' worth of detailed, minute by minute data. It will store summary data (calories, distance, and steps) for the trailing 30 days. If you wait longer than 7 days before syncing, you will not see your minute by minute graphs (except on the most recent 7 days).
Your Tracker is able to sync from multiple computers, as long as each computer has the Fitbit software installed and a working base station is plugged in. You don't need to physically connect the devices. Simply down load the app and upload your info.
1
Determine the type of connection
you will use to upload pictures from your cell phone to your PC. For
example, if your telephone has BlueTooth capabilities and you have a
notebook computer with BlueTooth, you may be able to upload pictures
without purchasing any additional equipment.
2
Purchase additional equipment
needed, such a data link cable or blue tooth hardware to add to your
computer. To find the data link cable for your individual cell phone,
try visiting your local cell service provider retail store. Stores often
keep these cables in stock. The cost for a cable runs from $20.00 and
up.
3
Make sure that the new cable
fits properly in your cell phone and computer ports. The computer
connection should be a basic USB connection.
Download and Install Software
1
Visit the website for your cell
phone's manufacturer, for example the LG website. Do a search for
downloads or software and locate the proper download for your cell phone
and Windows (or MAC) platform on your PC.
2
Install the software and follow
directions carefully. Often, there will be very specific steps involved
in ensuring that the cell phone and the computer recognize one another.
For example, if you connect the phone before downloading and installing
the software, the computer may not recognize your cell phone properly.
3
Test the software and make sure
everything is working properly. You should be able to pull up the
software and upload all the pictures and videos on your telephone. Every
cell phone manufacturer uses different software. While there isn't a
single tutorial that will cover how to use every type available, most
software comes with specific instructions and tutorials that will help
you learn how to easily use the features available.
Quite honestly, this is not worth the trouble. It easier to re-enter the waypoints manually. If you want to try it, you need to get some GPS connection software from someone like: http://www.gpsu.co.uk/. You cannot do it with your PC and cable alone. Good luck.
There is a generic "PIM" software (Personal Information Manager) software called BITPIM that is available. You will need a data cable and the proper drivers for your operating system in order to connect to your PC. Once you have this, you should be able to connect and transfer information between your PC and your phone without incurring any data charges.
Right wat ya gotta do is.. take ya photo(s).. then using your Software & Data Transfer Cable, usually USB, you then download the photos from ya camera to your PC's hard Drive, & then usually ya must convert the Photos to a smaller more suitable size.. However most sites explain how big the files should be... and how to "Upload" them to their site.
To perform these actions one must install the camera's Data Transfer Software & Drivers, that came with the camera. OR locate and download the Drivers from the manufacturers web site.
Install the software then reboot, THEN plug in ya USB cable connected to the camera, and then turn on.. it should be "Detected" and it may ask for "Drivers" if so, simply point it in the direction of the Driver Files, usually on ya CD. After the software and drivers are installed, you can manipulate the files as ya wish.
Then you are ready to start using the Uploading Software, from the site required, like say Ebay etc.
This software will ask you for the "Location" of the Photo(s) ya point it to the Photo's location and the Uploading Software will do it all for you from there on...
The link below is for a Photo resizer, that may come in handy.. just download & install.
