We have a Nordic Track NTL09007 C2500 that has stop working the Digital Control lights up, but nothing works...Nordic Mfg want to sell me a new Console for $515.00 about half of what we paid for the treadmill new....I can see invest that kind of money when it only lasted about a years and half...any of solutions...

I had the problem years ago and I contacted NorcTrack and their solution was to replace the entire console for about $400. They wouldn't replace the pads or anything else, all they would do is sell me the new console. That was not going to happen since I had only had the thing for about 5 years at the time. I wasn't going to be putting that kind of money into that treadmill every 5 years or so.

I tried many things and I finally decided to buy a new console pad from the Treadmill Doctor. I think it was around $100. It was easy to replace. I just removed the screws holding the console cover in place, unplugged the wires leading to the lower console pad and pulled it off. The new pad fit exactly into the space the old pad occupied, I plugged it in and it worked. It's still working about 6 years later. I use this treadmill daily without any problems. It's not anywhere near as nice as the new units I see out there today, but it does what it's supposed to do and that's all I need.

The Treadmill Doctor has all the parts you need for this machine at a reasonable price. Much cheaper than Nordic Track.

How to fit new console to nordic track c2500

Locate the Reed Switch (10) and the Magnet (7) on
the left side of the Pulley (8). Turn the Pulley until the
Magnet is aligned with the Reed Switch. Make sure
that the gap between the Magnet and the Reed
Switch is about 3 mm (1/8 in.). If necessary, loosen
the Screw (27), move the Reed Switch slightly, and
then retighten the Screw. Reattach the Hood (not
shown), making sure the screws are in the same holes
from which they were removed. Run the treadmill for a
few minutes to check for a correct speed reading.

I have a Nordtrack viewpoint 3000, the tv will come on and when I touch the start botton it just beeps.

I had the same problem with my Nordic track. I pressed every button until I found the one that did not beep. The one that does not beep is stuck. My problem was with the Ifit button. The first few times I would push the bad button until it started beeping. That worked for awhile (couple of weeks but started up again). I disconnected the Ifit unit and now the thing work fine except for Ifit which I never used. Nordic track wanted to sell me a new console which cost more than the machine.

I have a norditrack exp 1000x, on the lower part,of the control panel,the functions,have stopped working.but the upper function keys are ok.what do think is wrong.?

The overlay is bad. You will need to replace the whole console because nordic track does not sell just the overlays. you can get the console at iconservice.com or check on ebay

My treadmill (nordic Track EXP3000) was working until I took the ''key'' out which turned it off as expected. Upon replacing the key nothing works... Some lights come on but you can't start it you can't...

In some cases what happens the internal switch that your key engages to start your treadmill breaks free from its bracket. Try this press the Stop and the Speed Up keys down while inserting the safety key.
Press the Stop key one time. The Time window should read EP:2P. Some newer models may also say FP, Pass, or the like. This means that it passes the EPROM test.
You will be able to determine whether you can get in to this calibration mode if the key switch actually working and also at the same time it test the upper console to make sure its functional.

You can go to iconservice.com and go to "replacement parts". Input your model number and find the controller listed on the parts list there. Approximately $130 before tax and shipping.

All, just figured something out. I had the evil beeping problem as well. I decided to play around and see if I could fix it. I unplugged the iFit adapter from the main control board and when I plugged it back in and tested it, IT WORKS AGAIN! NO MORE BEEPING!

Got beeping? I JUST figured out how to fix it. Take the console apart and pull the connector from the back of the iFit card adapter. Plug back in, should be good as new!

Absolutely fantastic advice! We did as you suggested (except we left the connector unplugged - it stopped working when we plugged it in and we don't use the iFit anyway). Now the treadmill works wonderfully! Thanks!

I followed these same directions for my Nordic Track NTL09007 C2500 and it worked perfectly. I followed the fat data ribbon cable from the iFit card reader to the main board and disconnected it there. My wife thinks I'm a genius. (fooled her) Thank you for the instructions!

I had the same problem, console lit up but no functions. Unplugged the iFit from the console and wa-la, it worked again. I didn't try pluggin it back in again since I've never used it. Thanks for the help everyone

I had exact same problem console lit up and beeps but nothing moved after I read Mr. Humston's very help full comment I opened the console, it took me little while and few try till I found the right connector and wa la everything start working . When I called the Nordic track they said I have to replace the whole console and the cost was $600 but thanks to Michael Humston for the great discovery and advice .Thanks

I have the same problem as well, it is so frustrating I bought this and was so excited to replace my old one and I am still using a 10yr old treadmill. I cannot possibly afford the board.

On our machine the console would light up and the mileage would start counting, but no motor. I checked the motor brushes and fount that the bottom one was popped out.Take the top off (3 screws front edge, 1 underneath, will have to tilt the machine back to get the bottom one) and check the brushes. You might have to unbolt the motor (pain to get it back on).

Our C2500 stopped working a few years ago and I'd read to stick the memory card in. Sure enough, after I'd found it everything worked ... for about 4 years. This time it would come on but the belt wouldn't run and the control wouldn't let you change display. I went into it and unplug the iFit from the console, and all is back to normal. Thanks for the advice!
