I repaired a y sus board, put it all back together tested everything. The HDMI worked great all night. I took the set and the catv dvr into the other room and now the hdmi starts to work when you plug it in but stops after a few seconds, like a shift register isnt shifting or memory.. Before I remove the 10,000 screws to look for a loose cable or something, Is there anything else I need to know about hdmi?
This is a LG Type plasma engine with Viore Low Voltage and control boards
Ok, I just need to open it up. It is a Plasma. The TV works great except for the HDMI input. There isnt a lamp inverter in a Plasma. ThanksOk, I just need to open it up. It is a Plasma. The TV works great except for the HDMI input. There isnt a lamp inverter in a Plasma. Thanks

You may be able to flash the memory if you can find the sotware download on the web. Otherwise you may have another faulty capacitor that needs to be replaced. Hdmi should work fine with constant signal. Just plug n play. Either there is bad cables, connection, or too much or not enough current flow due to faulty capacitor
Nope, all you can do is open it back up, look for anything lose possible it got bumped while moving it. if that doesn't seem to be the problem look into the power inverter. I know that somtimes when these go bad they cause it to turn on, and quickly go back out again in tvs and monitors.

Check the contact connection on the connector, many times these overheat and melt the surrounding plastic. You may need to replace the connector wire harness.
I had a same issue with my Panasonic TH-42PV500B plasma television. I tried everything which is written above and can be found on different websites. Finally I decided to replace the HDMI Board itself. I was able to buy a used one on ebay, it was only 13 pounds with postage. It is relatively easy to remove this HDMI Board. You should just unplug the TV and remove all of the screws form the back which are fixing the back of the TV to the frame. There are plenty of screws. You should remove all of them! Remove the backplate of the TV. After this you can remove another metal plate from inside, which covers this HDMI board - 4 screws. After you can remove the HDMI Board - only one screw holding it to the main board. Replace the new one back and put back the cover plate and the back of the TV. And it is working. the y and z sustainer are always suggested to be replaced at the sametime as they work together to power the frontlight to the screen. sounds like the z board you got my be faulty with the popping noises, try to distriguish where the popping is coming from, also your issue does sound related to the y board and z board.
Well I recently bought a crosman like a month ago, I worked great, I also use CO2, then i started using it again, and all of a sudden all of the CO2 started seeping out of the barrel and CO2 area, cartridge after cartridge, so i said screw it and took it apart, and found the area that deals with the CO2 and tightened everything up. I couldn't put it back together, so i looked for the schematics and finally got it back together, then i tested it out and it works fine now. Good luck.
Are you getting 110VAC on the primary leads of the high voltage transformer when you press "Start" to begin cooking?
If not, yhen it may simply be a bad cook relay (I do board repair) or a bad bottom or inside top door switch. See http://www.microwavecontrol.com/doorsw.htm

This is quite tricky as it was working until last night and suddenly stopped receiving signals. What can happen wrong?
Do you have any other Player or other HDMI cables to try out. Sometimes the cables would be damaged or PC may fail to detect the HDMI.
test the main board next to it- the are usually replaced together sometimes called the scan board-you can check for blown fuses on the x sus and put the back of your hand to the heat sinks- see if they warm up or not (be careful) if they stay cold with set on for several minutes then its dead
F9 code can mean something different depending upon the particular model..... 1.) IF your Microwave uses "UltraWave technology"/"SmartWave technology"...Then either the Magnetron has failed or the Inverter board has failed OR maybe the control board has failed (HUH?). 2.) IF your Microwave does NOT use "UltraWave technology"/"SmartWave technology" then one or more of the door switches has failed.
** "UltraWave technology"/"SmartWave technology" ** I'll explain a few things about this wonderful technology... The control board (accepts the pushbutton commands) has to talk to the inverter board to tell it how much power should be applied to the magnetron. The inverter board will then power the magnetron and inform the control board if the magnetron is working OK. If there is something wrong with the magnetron or inverter board or a there is a communication breakdown between the control board and the inverter board...WA-LA-----F9----
A pretty reliable test for the Magnetron is to operate the oven and listen for a ticking sound 5-6 times about a second apart. If you can hear the ticking....The magnetron has failed..if no ticking, the control or inverter board failed.
Note: This 'technology' may come in other flavors as well
