I want to eject a dvd but it's lock. How I unlock it?
Try unplugging the unit for a minute then try again. it can be a number of issues. The Tray could have become stuck. The mechanism which ejects the tray may have become stuck The motor that moves the tray may have stopped working or the rubber cord that transfers the movement of the motor to the gear may be out of place or broken. Listen to the unit when you are attempting to open the drive/door. Do you hear a sound when its attempting to open the tray? a Small motor spinning? (almost instantly after pressing eject) Try pressing on the eject button repeatedly, unplug the machine and hold down the eject button while plugging in and powering on, if that doesn't help - repeatedly press on the eject button while you are turning the device on. if the issue remains, and if you are outside of warranty, disconnect all the cables from the unit and unplug it. You will have to take the dvd player apart and get inside, check for screws under all soft objects and labels. In the end the case can be hold in place with plastic clips, use a flat screwdriver to open the corners/sides/back/front carefully. when you are inside, find the dvd drive, remove the disc in the drive if there is any, carefully plug in the power. Please take care that you don't touch anything your not supposed to while you have the unit open and plugged in. Try ejecting the drive, do you see whats wrong with it? is the motor spinning? might be below the tray and not visible. Check for the rubber belt that might be out of place or missing compleltely or cut. replace the belt if that is the issue or place it on its place properly. Now to eject the drive if the belt is fine and it still doesn't open, you should be able to see some gears and plastic parts that move when the tray is ejected. Try helping the gears with a flat screwdriver etc. Or if you don't see anything, press eject and help the tray out with your hand by pushing from the back. Make sure you are pushing on the tray that moves in and out and not on the drive itself. Now if the tray opened and came out, close it and open it a few times to confirm that its unstuck and works, when the drive opens and closes properly go ahead and put the dvd player back together (unplug the power first) when you are done, connect back all the cables that you had on the dvd player as they where and the issue should be fixed.
To unlock, manually press and HOLD the open/close button & the stop button simultaneously, and HOLD them both down until the lock picture disappears. The DVD will eject when you press the open/close button.
To lock the DVD inside the machine, repeat the same step, and it will lock it inside.
