Question about HP Color LaserJet CP4005dn Network Printer
HP Color laser jet 4700n 49.3048 service error
The problem is usually caused by printing a PDF file with fonts/page size/ page formating errors which will cause the printer to display the 49.3048 error. The only way to use the printer is to POR or recycle the power and delete the print job from the server or spooling device and cancel it on the printer before the offending command is issued to the printer again. You can try updating the firmware to the latest version 46.140.5 from the HP website. MIke L.

Thats a firmware error, could be just a false error from a document that it's unable to process or print, size, format error, etc. To clear you need to remove cables and reboot, image causing the problem could be still in the computer buffer, so you need to delete print que as well.

Other causes include poor-quality parallel
