Hi i have a speedqueen awm373w-3062 have noise on

Hello.

Loud noises coming from a Washing Machines are most often caused by loose objects inside the unit or by a broken dryer belt. The Washing Machines belt allows the dryer's motor to run smoothly. Continuous wear and dry conditions may cause the belt to dry out, eventually Washing Machines cracking and then snapping. This will cause a loud noise within the unit. Repair and fix the dryer belt of a Washing Machines to get rid of loud noises.

Instructions And Things You'll Needed to solve the problem.

Screwdriver ,Replacement Washing Machines belt

1 Stop the Washing Machines and look inside the dryer's drum for any loose objects such as coins, pens or anything else that may have been in a pocket of clothing. Remove the object and restart the dyer to determine if the noise has stopped.
2 Unplug the Washing Machines from the wall outlet to disconnect all power to the unit.

3 Remove the lint trap from the lint compartment on the top of the dryer.

4 Remove the screws that hold the top panel in place. Pull the panel off to access the
dryer belt.
5 Tilt the dryer forward and lift the dryer drum to remove the belt. Check the Washing Machines belt. A belt that is worn, cracked, split or broken will cause loud noises.

6 Slide the old belt off of the drum and pull it out to remove it. Take note on how it is positioned over the drum.
7 Install the new belt. Lean the front panel away from the Washing Machines and slip the new belt over the drum. Locate the position of the old belt and slip the new belt following the old belt's position ensuring the grooved side of the belt faces down. Push the idler pulley towards the motor to allow you to slip and loop the belt around the motor pulley.
8 Place the top panel on the Washing Machines and screw it in place.
9 Open the Washing Machines door and use your hand to rotate the drum counterclockwise a few turns to ensure the belt is secured.
10 Plug the Washing Machines into the wall unit and begin use .

I have the MAYTAG top loader washer, Model #MAV6451AWW, it will not spin in the rinse cycle, how to fix / take apart?

Usually when this unit washes but will not spin the thrust bearing kit is damaged. This is easy to repair with little cost.
Completly empty the unit, clothes and water ,unplug the power cord, lie the unit on its back, remove the belt, the c clip from the pully. Take the thrust bearing, the pully the washers off the unit . Grease the new bearing and install new parts. I would also replaced the belt.

Front loader Electric Dryer the belt

It's not that hard, but it can be a little tricky. First UNPLUG the dryer or turn off the gas to it, whichever is applicable.

Then, assuming you have the new belt, you will open the lint filter door. There will be two screw heads visible. Remove them. Place a knee in the center of the dryer just below the top. Place your hands at the front corners and **** hard while pressing with your knee and lift up on the top of the dryer. Once you do this, tilt the dryer top back until it rests on the wall behind the dryer.
Next remove the two bolts at the top front corners. Disconnect the wiring harness connector for the door switch and lift the front panel of the door up and away from the rest of the dryer. You will notice the drum rides on the front panel and will fall down.
Take out the old belt. Loop the new belt around the drum in the same approximate position that the old belt was riding. Take a small loop of belt and push it through the tensioner while lifting the tensioner to relieve tension off the belt. Then loop that end around the motor pulley.
To re-assemble the dryer, reverse the directions for taking it apart. Remember to hook up the wiring harness. You will have to lift the drum into place to make sure the felt on the front and rear ride correctly on the guides.

Good luck!
