I need the code fora Vizio tv
I have a Universal Remote Control but cannot find a code for a Vizio 32" TV for it and cannot get it to respond correctly when searching for a code.
I contacted Vizio the other day. They tell me that they use the same generic codes as LG. I have Suddenlink Cable, formerly Charter, so I still use the Charter remote. My remote only needed 3 digits and I have noticed that many need 4 or 5. I can tell you that the LG code worked for my tv. I can power on/off, volume, and change the channel. All other functions require the manufacture's remote. The code I used is 005. There was also 004 but that did not work on my tv. Hope this helps someone!
I used 0030 and this code turns my visio 37in. lcd tv off and on. This is with using a comcast cable remote.
I have a vizio LCDFHDTV 47 and the code to program the time warner control remote it's 0019 it works, try this may help
I needed a 3 digit code for my universal remote for my vizio tv; try 502 it worked for me!

I have one forall remote and vizio tv 32 inch the code 0178 works well
I can do channel changes but cannot get volume control or mute with mt direct tv remote rc64. I have tried all thevizio, hitachi and toshiba codes.
I have blue ray panasonic, that remote control does not suport Vizio brand

Unfortunately, those remotes only take a 3 digit code. I bought 2 new remotes, which do take 4 digit codes, but the code(s) for the Vizio do not work (or partially). I found that the 4 digit codes for the Goldstar and LG work better than those provided for the Vizio, but still not as good as the original Vizio remote.

vizio 26 in. TV code? Probably the same for a 32 inch vizio.
Used a GE universal remote looking for manual 3 digit code. Also tried other automatic remote scans. Vizio shuts off. Then tried reading back the remote code. Still could not determine the code.
dear person, with the same problem i'm having,All t.v. use to come w/acode book ,so that if youwanted to use a universal remote u could look it up in the tv code book,but....... i just bought my new Vizio 32 " plasma tv and no such luck..........aarrrggh, It is making me crazy so i was so glad i'm not the only one out there who feels crazy!!!!!!!!!!! Just bought a Vizio 26" set and can't find the code for the Time Warner remote control. The cable box is a Scientific Atlanta box, Model 2100. I got all features to work except that I still have to turn the TV off with the Vizio remote.
Does anyone know the code for RCA lcd (time warner remote)?
