Enter the model-number of the printer, and do the search.
Select Downloadable Device-Drivers.
Select Windows 7.
Download the device-driver.
Install it.

Have you try to use the software in compatibility mode for windows vista or xp ??

Simply highlight the icon on the desktop, right click and choose properties, then select the last tab (compatibility), here you choose to run it in windows xp compatibility. This should prevent some things on old software

I think the problem is..... Magix is compatible with XP 64 bit but not with Vista or 7 64 bit, not much 3rd party software is.

you've hit the nail on the head mate.
It's your driver settings,you just need to change them.
but first i need you to check something,coz when you install MAGIX it also installs it's own AOSIO drivers & VST-DX Adapter Light.
but because you've up graded/dated windows these mite have changed,moved or even gone.
so open magix music editor 2.0 from the program files / magix then open a new project,click on the red OPT record button then choose your settings.
what are your options in the RECORD DEVICE AND FILE PATH drop down? let me known @

Can you hear any other sounds on your computer? If so, make sure your recording properties are set to the device name that is producing the sounds you want to record.

On my computer, this is called "stereo mix". To get to the recording control:

1) Double-click on the speaker icon next to the time on the very right of your task bar.
2) Click on properties
3) Then, click on the options menu item.
4) Next, click on the radio button next to record.
5) Select all the check-boxes
6) Click OK

At this point, if you aren't sure which device produces the sound that needs to be recorded, you can select one at a time until it works. There shouldn't be any more than 5 or 6 devices to choose from.

You must check the package to ensure that the program is windows vista compatable. Please do note that Vista does have its own back software embedded. Simply type into the start search bar on the start menu backup and recovery.
