I dont know this model of feedback destroyer, but i'd like to tell you this. I'm a service technicien for a touring company. We found that in the last 10 years Behringer quality drop down so much that was making alot of their components useless. To cure such problem usually found with monitor, i'll recommand buying a 31 band EQ and adjust the mid high freq level section. You could install it with inserts cable just on the main vocal entry i guess, also you should give a try to this way of connections for you feedback destroyer. It might be the way you're hooking it. Send a draw of the actual connections...
hookup the remote wire of your EQ to that of the HU or just simply connect it to the positive line but it would make your EQ powered ON all the time. That remote wire of your EQ is to get a trigger signal from the HU so that it will turn the EQ "on".
FOR EXAMPLE IF YOU WER HOOKING IT TO A CD PLAYER,, YOU WOULD PLUG RCA JACKS IN THE LINE OUT ON THE CD PLAYER,, THEN PLUG THEM IN THE EQ WERE IT SAYS LINE IN OR AUDIO IN,,THEN TAKE SOME RCA JACKS PLUG IN THE EQ TO AUDIO OUT, THEN TO YOUR RECIEVER,, IN CD ,,AND VISE VERSA ,,WETHER ITS A TV OR PHONO,, ANYTHING,,
take output from left and right from equalizer and go to line in any two channels inputs in peavey mixing console and adjust your level with faders and other control knobs.
Is the eq an ART hq 31 ?
