My machine do not spin the clothes

I washed one load of clothes with no problem. When I did the second load of clothes, it washed but when the time for the clothes to do the spin cycle it did not. I had to ring the clothes out by hand. The water had drained from the machine but did not ring the clothes out. It made a sound like it was ringing the clothes out but it wasn't spinning.

Is your washer a direct drive machine, if so check the direct drive coupling down by the gearcase, pump and motor. it may need to be replaced.

How can I reset a Haier Portable Washer? I have HLP24E. It shows UL (unbalanced load) after I choose Rinse&Spin or Spin, and never spins even the washer is empty..

Try it with a few clothes placed along the outer walls of the drum. It has a sensor that will try to balance the load before going up to full speed but if there are no clothes or weight in the drum, it won’t start.

Washer spins out when it feels like it!

I think you have something caught inside the pump. ie, a button, paperclip, small screw, etc.

I have a kenmore 80s series top loader washing machine. The water does not drain all the way on the spin cycle. I have to always run a second spin cycle

I know this sounds goofy but it sounds like the machine has been over loaded a few times and each time the machine is over loaded it makes the springs weaker. That makes it easier to overload with less laundry. Try to put less clothes in and see if that helps. Good luck.

Washing machine spin cycle

if a second spin dries the clothes as it should then i would be looking for blockages in the pipes that either go to the pump from the drum, or go from the pump to the outlet connector on the wall or sink, hope i have been of some help, if so please rate me, thank you
