Hi,
My high def picture is no longer showing the full picture. I know that at least the sides are cut off, possibly even the top and bottom. I miss about 10% on each side. This problem occurs for both tv signals and when I play back HD programs from the cable DVD recorder.
The problem started after I watched a movie last night and changed the picture size. For 1080 HD channels, this tv does not allow me to manually adjust the picture size. The screen tells me this feature is not available in HD mode.
Anyone have a tip as to how I can get the full screen back?

I have a Toshiba 50HP15 PLasma flat screen TV. Its been working tone for 2 years now. All of a sudden without warningm the right 1/3 of tghe picture is missing and is black, where as the other 2/3rd of the picture is great picture and in HD. When I press DISPLAY on the remote control is says FULL 720p. When I press the Picture Size button on the remote the message NOT AVAILABLE come on. Anyone with suggestions. Thanks

Try the settings button on the remote for the cable box - scrolling through that you may find a setting for zoom that is set to 'zoom' where you want it set to 'normal'

I have the same problem with my Toshiba 57h84 rear projection HDTV.
The problem is present with HDMI and component input.
I have a 52-inch Samsung that has always cut off a little on both sides. When Fox News went HD in October the problem got much worse. They have a vertical news ticker on the right that is half gone. I have tried all of the adjustments for the TV. "Just scan" gives the most picture. I must be losing 15-20% on each side. I am connected through Direct TV. Thanks
