Is there a connection for gas to mig weld on a Clarke 6440 flux welder

No. Not with the spool up on the gun. It is one of the few flux core specific welders.

This is not to say you could not try. the hard part is the plumbing between the gun and the main box. If you can get that figured out it would otherwise be the same components as other MIG welders.

I need clarke mig welder partes for the gun on a 130en. I can't find them any place, can you help me find them. Thank you.

Hi:
It will be better to adapt a new gun. Go to your nearest Praxair (www.praxair.com) store and ask for a tweco mini gun with a clarke adapter. Tweco accesories are available at ALL welding stores and it's a cheap gun also.

Getting lots of splatter weld will not hold

Check polarity of machine.
Solid wire with gas assist will need straight polarity ground clamp to negative side.
Flux core wire no gas, need reverse polarity; ground cable to positive side.

Clarke MIG welder parts??

what model is your clarke? i have a 125en which is the exact same welder as a craftsman, you could probably get a new feed motor or other parts for the welder itself from sears, the gun is a tweco style gun same as lincolns, so if you need tips or anything you can get those just about anywhere welder stuff is sold. i hope i helped.

Welder not welding

The contact tip is the main source of power, if the tip is bigger than the wire then you will not get a proper conection, the earth clamp is a essential part of the system make sure you have a good earth and all the conections are tight
