JVC TH-M45 DVD Problem

When I am watching a DVD, it will suddenly restart at the beginning. This happens on all DVD's at different times. There does not seem to be any pattern to it. I have Direct TV. I thought it might have something to do with it, but I don't have problems with other DVD systems. Can you help?

JVC TH-C30 dvd movies skip

Check your formatting on the DVD recorder, you need to finalize the disk to be playable on "any" player. That should solve the issue. Your JVC is looking for specific code as it reads the disc, when it's missing or not understood by your JVC it will either stop play or skip over it's interperated missing info. Hope this helps

Connecting an Ipod to JVC TH-M45 System

you can hook up ipod 2 different ways. the one i will use will be with a 3.5 to 3.5 mini plug connection(on both sides of cable it has i.e. head phone jack connection) and then set unit to aux in and that will give you sound from ipod. another way is with red and white audio cables to 3.5 mini plug connection. connect red and white to audio in on back of unit, and then set unit to that source.

no, u cant use the speakers with other normal DVD player because it wont have amplification for the speakers... u can use the sub to other dvd player because its inbuilt 120 watt woofer. ur dvd player is 5-disc player as wel as 120 X 2 and 80 X 3 watts amplifier (AV receiver ).... so just the JVC better sound thru the sub and speakers... What video out put you connected between JVC player and TV ?
Look at back of your JVC player for Video out (yellow color) pin, hook RCA cable there and plug it to Input-1 or 2 in TV.
Now select AV 1 or 2 (what ever you hooked) in TV by remote and hopefully picture will in TV.
need further help, let me know model number of your TV.
