Printing in color on my Lexmark printer is very slow. This is a wireless printer and is not so slow on black and white printing.

Printing in color is always slow vs. printing in B/W. If your printing color with the highest resolution setting, it will print really slow. You can adjust the resolution settings in Printer Properties for the Lexmark. If you want faster print, select a lower resolution.

I have a document in the queue for printing that I have tried to delete as it is blocking other documents for printing. How do I delete it permanently? I have tried clicking on it in active printers and...

This is the simple way to get rid of your stuck document. Do not short cut.

Delete your printer from within the control panel/printer folder.

Go to www.lexmark.com/support and get the latest version of your print driver that matches your operating system. Put the download on your desktop for easy locating.

Turn off your printer, turn off your computer, disconnect your printer from your computer and unplug the printer's power cord. Wait ... Turn on your computer ... run the driver (package) you just downloaded. Plug in the power cord for the printer. Do not plug in your printer data cord until instructed to do so. Follow the on screen instructions for loading the driver exactly.

This will get you up and printing again.

In any mode he is printing to slow. 2 pages per a min. Its lexmark 650n

If the printer resolution is set very high, this can slow printing. So can high resolution input. Is the printer showing any sign of memory loss? Try a test print--it should come out quickly. Good luck!

Lexmark z31 printer will not stop printing

Disconnect printer cable from PC. Power off printer and unplug power cord from outlet. Wait 15 seconds. Press the power button as if to turn on with unit still unplugged. Plug back into outlet and turn on printer.

Before reconnecting to PC, check the printer's queue status. Start, Control Panel, Printers. Select the printer by double clicking to open queue status. Select any remaining documents and choose cancel from document menu bar.

Printing is very weak and difficult to read even though I changed and put a new cartridge in the printer It is a Lexmark X215

hi,
The resolution on a monitor is 72 dots per inch. The resolution on paper is about 300 dots per inch. What looks good on a screen often looks bad in print. The picture you are printing is probably saved at a resolution which looks good on the screen but not on paper.

are you using the right quality paper and are the printing settings adjusted correctly? If your printer is set for photo quality paper and you are using plain paper or vice verse, you wont get good results.

*please clean cartridges with the automatic system.
*Tried auto alignment setting
*Try to clean nozzles of cartridges by humid (wet) fabrics.

please try all the steps for the problem to be solved.

When printing documents from my PC documents always sent to queue

Go to control panel, printers. Set your defaults there. You probably have spooling enabled. Uncheck it and your print job will go to the printer, rather than to spooling. Spooling is like rolling the print job up on a spool until the whole thing is processed, then unwinding it to the printer.

If you are trying to print something from the computer, such as a document in Word or Excel, go through the normal procedure of printing. Go to File and then Print or use the printer icon. Hope this helps.

Odd behavior when printing

FrostPoptart -

An interesting issue. I think the driver may be causing the printer to 'misread' print jobs. I think installing the most current version of your printer's driver should resolve the issue; Rather than use the driver CD, however, use Lexmark's Driver Finder to locate your printer and download the most recent driver:

I hope this helps!

2. Right click the Lexmark printer icon and choose Properties.
3. Select the Details tab and click Spool Settings.
