The washer starts correctly then after about 1 minute it will stop working and doesn't go past that stage. We tried different settings, hot cycle, cold cycle, etc. nothing seems to work.
Is there any one that can tell us how to run a diagnostic test on this washer?
As for the user whose machine will not drain and sounds as though a chain is clanking, the solution is probably a coin caught in the drain pump. I just had the same problem. Access the pump from the bottom of the machine. 4 screws hold the mounting bracket on undo those, the electrical connection and two hose to the pump. Undo three screws holding impeller to motor and coin can fall out. Examine for damage if it is not too tore up, put back together. Keep in mind that when you unclamp the hoses that water will come out.
For the MAH2400 it is the Temperature and Spin key for 3 secs.
Works for Hotpoints:
Try the "on" & "start" buttons together for 10 secs or more. To get back to normal, do the same.

Mine was working fine, moved, hooked it up, goes on and starts with the water then 20 seconds later or so, it just quits!
Mine started and then stopped. It will not drawin. Now it sounds like a chain is clanking in it when I start it.
mine wont spin. drains ok but will not start spin cycle
Re: the MAH2400, at what point do you press the Temp/Spin keys, before you press start or after start when water starts and then quits?
