My nokia N96 wont display the screen but still turns on and all buttons light up and sound still works. How could i fix this?

You have to check that your LCD is connected to the buttons strip from inside of your phone by opening its front casing. If it is in the strip connector, then you ave to change your LCD as your LCD had been over to show any thing.

Remove battery off and replace after 15 minutes, if there is no response then it is possible that the software needs to be reinstalled into the phone.
you will need assistance to load an error free software from Nokia care.

ya seems this is a problem of display connector u can fix it by fitting the display connector by opening the cell if it doesn't work then also then replace ur display

Sounds like it's the ribbon cable, a common problem on n96's. Replacing this should fix the problem.

while you start the phone,with one hand you keep pressing *+3 while you presss on/off buttonwith other hand.With this method you will hard reset your phone, what means that you will loose ALL personal data.
