Loewe contur 1270 tv is outputting not inputting

Have you selected the antenna or cable tuner and done a channel search?

Its system settings should be checked. Refer its user manual for details. It it is multisystem one, set the system settings to 'Auto;.

first thing I would do is to make sure your cable box is turned on. if not fixed, make sure you have the correct input. this can be done by viewing all the inputs that the tv has by pressing the input button on your remote until you find a picture. if it is still not working, make sure you have you cable run right. there should be one cable running to the cable box and into the port labeled antenna or input, then anouther labed cable running from the output port to the tv. there might also be a vcr or dvd play inbetween. if that is the case, the cabel running from the cable box should go to the input of the vcr or dvd play and the output line should go to the tv. any equipment inbetween the cable box and tv should be turned on when viewing you cabel tv. you will also have to make sure that any equipment inbetween is running off the cabel input.

has the television got a/v inputs as most of the dvd players run through a/v rather than coax cable

sorry cant solve it ,i called all the loewe service agents and they all said the same thing, put up with it. a new engine/colour wheel cost around $2500,

Loewe is not importing into the US, however, they still contract with Panurgy (based in NJ) to provide service to US owners. Call them at 1-866-563-9387, and they can advise on what to do, or provide an in-home service call to repair using original parts.

The color wheel bing noisy is a common problem iyt will eventually give a negative type picture, Loewe have now a solution to service this without replacement,I haven't tried it yet but I have one in the wirk shop to do. The second issue is probably a signal board issue, the tv handle menu systems differently from AV inputs. Loewe do part exchange prices on signal boards.

Before you change the signal board test with an AVS input from a camera or something, earlier models were sent out before Loewe had a license for HDCP and this can also cause the problem of no signal.
