Hi,

Here are few Home remedies that should help you fix the issue. If you still face any problems then it is an internal issue with your remote and you will have to contact the nintendo support.

  1. Clean the Wii remote pointer lens. Use a soft cloth to remove any sticky substances. Wii remote jackets, stickers or other objects should not block the remote pointer lens, as it will cause characters to move erratically, disappear or remain off-center.

  2. Operate the Wii remote between three to eight feet away from the sensor. Otherwise, it will not perform properly.

  3. Note that infra-red lights from candles, toys, appliances, fireplaces and even sunlight may effect how the Wii remote performs. Try to remove or reduce infra-red interference from these sources when possible.

  4. Turn off or move wireless devices located near the Wii console. You may be experiencing radio frequency interference from other wireless devices.
  5. Check to see if anything is blocking the sensor. Clear objects away from the sensor and console to enable the remote to send a clear signal to the Wii system.
  6. Center the sensor bar directly below or above your television. Having the sensor off-center may cause the Wii remote to perform poorly.
Re-sync the Wii remote to the Wii system:
  1. Completely turn off the Wii system. Remove the batteries from the remote. Turn the power off on the Wii console. Unplug the unit from the wall. Wait five seconds and then replug the unit into the wall.

  2. Push the power button to turn on the Wii console. After the health and safety screen appears, open the small door on the front of the Wii console. Locate the red SYNC button. Push down on the SYNC button for fifteen seconds. This resets all previous SYNCS on the Wii system.

  3. Re-sync the Wii remote. Locate the red button on the remote control under the battery cover. Push and release this red button. The Wii remote should respond with blinking blue lights.

  4. Push and release the red SYNC button on the Wii console. Place the batteries back in the remote. When the remote is successfully re-synced, the LED light will remain lit.

  5. Repeat the re-syncing process with all other Wii remotes on this system.
Thank You

How do i change sleep mode

Sleep Timer Mode

The Sleep Timer mode is an energy-saving feature that enables you to set a time for the monitor to
power on and off at the same time every day. This also extends the life of the backlight bulbs in the
monitor. The Sleep Timer has five settings:
? Set Current Time
? Set Sleep Time
? Set On Time
? Timer: On/Off
? Sleep Now

To set the timer:
1. Press the Menu button on the monitor front panel to display the OSD Menu.
2. Scroll down and highlight Management.
3. Press the OK button to select Management.
4. Scroll down and highlight and select Sleep Timer > Set Current Time.
NOTE: You must set the current local time before you reset the time for Sleep Time or On Time. Note that the time is displayed in a 24-hour clock format. For example, 1:15 p.m. is displayed as 13 hours 15 minutes. A power failure or loss of power to the monitor will cause the timer to reset to 00:00. If this occurs, you will need to reset the sleep timer mode.

5. Press the OK button once to enter the adjustment mode for hours.
6. Press the - (Minus) or + (Plus) button to adjust the hour.
7. Press the OK button again to enter the time for minutes.
8. Press the - (Minus) or + (Plus) button to adjust the minutes.
9. Press the OK button to lock in the time chosen.
10. After setting the current time, the highlight automatically skips to Set Sleep Time. Repeat steps 6 through 9 to set Sleep Time.
11. If you do not want to set Sleep Time, press the OK button twice, then select Save and Return to exit the menu.
12. After setting Sleep Time, the highlight automatically skips to Set On Time. Repeat steps 6 through 9 to set On Time.
13. Set the Timer mode to On to activate the Sleep Timer settings.
14. When you are finished, select Save and Return to exit the menu.

The fifth selection, Sleep Now, turns the monitor backlights off immediately and stays in sleep mode
until the next On Time activates or a monitor button is pressed.

My wii remotes are not responding to my wii unless i am within a foot of the receiver anyone know why? and how to fix it, thanks

  1. Access the Wii System Settings
  2. Click on the blue arrow to reach the Wii System Settings 2 menu options.
  3. Choose "Sensor Bar " and select "sensitivity"

  • Use the Wii Remote to get the cursor to get the two white dots in the test field.
  • If you see two blinking dots, then the sensitivity is currently set correctlyIf you don't see two blinking dots (they don't have to blink at the same time), adjust the sensitivity with the + and - buttons of the Wii Remote until you see two blinking dots.
  • Select "Confirm" to save the setting.
Please note that the higher the sensitivity setting, the more sensitive the Sensor Bar becomes to sunlight and various light sources. This may impact the operation of the Wii Remote. The initial recommended distance for using the Wii Remote Pointer is 3 to 8 feet from the Sensor Bar.
Seeing more than two dots?
If you see more than two dots on the Sensitivity screen, then the Wii Remote is picking up on additional light sources. Verify that there are no bright light sources, including sunlight, behind or near the TV, shining towards the Wii Remote or reflecting off the TV screen. Avoid sources of infrared light in the gameplay area such as electric, propane or kerosene heaters, flames from fireplaces or candles, and stoves or other sources of heat.

Wii remote cursor not working in Wii Menu

I find it very irratating to navigate the wii menu as well. It seems our problem is the remote is very very sensitive to the sensor bar. You have to swing the remote around a bit to find the 'hand' you use to click on where you want to go. also, I find that I first have to press A when the menu comes, then almost have the remote 3 inches from the sensor bar. I have also tried putting the sensor bar in different loactions. Like, if we are playing standing up, we put the bar atop of the tv, otherwise if it is a game we can play while sitting, we put the sensor bar under the tv, on the stand (this is a 20") Try moving yours around and find out what works best for you. But it is frustrating as I too find that the remote is too dag 'on sensitive!! Even though I know it's fussy, we still have the problem daily, doen't get any easier! I hope this suggestion helps.
