    I have a brand new Whirlpool Duet Steam Washer & Dryer. Tonight the washing machine stopped showed a fault code of F-20...I couldn't turn it off with the buttonm the door remained locked with my scrubs inside it. My husband had to climb over the set to unplug it from the wall to turn it off! What gives, this $3K set isn't even 45 days old...and the repair people have serviced my dryer 5 times since delivery. FRUSTRATED!!!

I had the F-28 code error on my 1-1/2 year old Kenmore HE2t. The door wouldn't unlock and I couldn't get the clothes out of it.
The repair tech, after calling other repair techs, decided it was the central electrical unit, page #8540540 (Whirlpool) -- now Part No. W10163007. I ordered it online for about $250 cheaper than the tech was going to charge (not including the additional labor charges).

It means little or no water pressure. This happens to me when I run my disher washer and washing machine at the same time. I just press "Stop" and it drains, then wait until my dishwasher is finished running, then re-run the washer. Hope this helps!

Kenmore washer he2t model 110.47571603. getting f20 error after it fills for about 9 minutes. replaced water sensor and still getting the error
F20 means either Hot or Cold water is taking too long to fill. remove hoses and fill into a buck to verify you have good household pressure. if not, call plumber to resolve. If hoses are putting out good pressure, inspect water valve screens, one or both may be partially clogged with sediment or sand. If they are clean, I recommend replacing the water valve.

Not sure but sounds like maybe ur suds sensor is trying to tell u something? If u use to much detergent especially if its not H.E detergent u can plug ur suds sensor, u can go online and put in fault codes for ur specific brand of appliance and it will tell u exactly what the code means case Im wrong
