Well I found that in the service manual as well, but what does Panel Config SOS mean? I can tell that it is between main board and the SC board since those are connected with a ribbon cable. How do I find which of the 2 boards are faulty and how to find the defective part? there are no trouble shooting guidelines in their service manual. Almost like they really do not want this to be fixable even with service manual.

Please help- we have a Panasonic Plasma TH-42PX77u
red light is blinking 7 times--repairman says it needs an SD or SU driver board...$300 plus...cannot afford. Tried to oder the part but do not have a part number, can anybody offer any suggestions.
The number on the board he pointed to is tnpa4185 or e57302, but we cannot find that part listed with anyone.
