No,don't buy plasma tvs any tvs make or tvs brand.Don't buy any kind of tvs using plasma gas as for plasma screen panel as a power sourced if u play major hours of gaming on the plasma tvs,u will still have thermal expansion problems but less.Plasma tvs still have major problems, with screen BURN IN problems though.
I have 2 50" plasma tvs. One is a Samsung and the other is a LG. I play my PS3 on both and have not had any problems whatsoever. You can also look through the manual and it should also give you some facts about hooking up a console system to it. You should also have different settings for the TV such as standard, sports, game mode, etc... So you can set the tv up on however you wanted to view it. Have fun gaming!
that is because plasma tvs have a limit on there screen life and if all is done all day for months and months was watching tv ,playing games then you will need a new tv plasmas **** you can get same quality out of a lcd flat panel and three time the screen life or you could spend anthor grand and have the solution replace and maybe the that part of the control board went out and you will spending about half of what you paid for it to fix thats why i have two lcds have not had one problem with them one 32 for my computer and a 42 for me to watch tv ov on play games with and both the same brand and i paid 1200 for both brand new
Hi Rickpo:
After installing the $11 kit and the additional $13 kit recommended by (http://preher-tv.blogspot.com/2010/01/samsung-hpt4254-no-power-repaired.html) mostly surface mount diodes (also available on Ebay), the Samsung HP-T4254 came back on, but would only play for 4 minutes. I found DX801 flowing both directions, replaced it with a diode from Fry's. Works great, $26 total repair costs :-)
Need to make sure you have the red, white, and yellow rca connection cables ran from the samsung dvd player to the red, white, yellow input on the back of the dvd recorder. Once you do that make sure you put your dvd recorder on line 1 input. If you look closely on the back of your recorder it should say line 1 input. If your recorder isn't on that input you can put the recorder on line 1 input by using dvd recorder remote and pushing the input button. Make sure you don't push the tv input button the dvd recorder remote there should be a seperate input button or a way to toggle the inputs on the recorder. Once you verify all that turn on your tv and go to the input on your tv that you watch the dvd recorder on and you should see what your recording on the tv.
