My Acer 22" flat panel monitor is blindingly bright, and I can't find a way to adjust it.

The monitor should have a menu system that can allow you to adjust brightness as needed from time to time.

The brightness and contrast can be adjusted on the monitor itself with the help of buttons on it.

Press the 'OSD' (On Screen Display) button on the front/bottom of the LCD, to show a bunch of menu items. Choose "brightness", and adjust it to a darker value.

i have 3 hannspree monitors 2 were sent back for repair i replacement was faulty when i got it back the other one changes flashing colours never again i tried turning the brightness to full which helped for a time

try to adjust front panel button, for the brightness control + - sign, if not function the problem is the lcd ckt. and need service.

there's a buttong located on your monitor. just look for it then set up brightness to watever display u want.

right click on your desktop... select properties.... when that window opens ... click on the tab that says settings. you will see a sliding adjustment there with different screen sizes.... experiment abit till you get the screen size that looks right and that you are comfortable with.

I have my husband's hp monitor and thought I was going to go blind. I turned down the brightness to 0 and it still didn't help that much. I decided to turn down the contrast and it worked. Hope this helps.
