Beater is hitting bowl

You can find the User's Manual (which shows how to adjust beater-bowl clearance) for your model at:

I have a kitchenaid K5SS. The beater keeps hitting the bowl even after adjustment screws was adjusted. What else can I do to fix problem

Check the four large screws at the back of the motor housing. They screw up thru the pedestal into the gear/motor housing. If they are loose that can allow the motor to tilt forwards. Check also the ones under the pedestal base, I have never seen those ones loose though and they would not cause your problem.

Kitchen aid khm3wh beaters will not stay in mixer

I fixed mine (my wife's). Kitchenaid 3-Speed Hand Mixer KHM3WH. Here's how I did it.
This is a pretty old mixer. My wife bought it at a thrift store for $1. She brought it home, we found the beaters and whisk beaters on eBay. Paid $34.00 for both sets of beaters, but when we received them we found they would not stay in the mixer. Oh we also bought the alternative/replacement beaters from Sears, parts online. I don't think those will work with my fix. However with some $0.92 rubber washers from Lowe's and a heavy duty paperclip I fixed the mixer, and it works flawlessly. Maybe some stainless steel wire would be a better, more permanent fix.

Mine is a K5-A Hobart Kitchen Aid mixer and the back bowl pin broke off so I can't click the bowl in place any more. Please help!

sounds like you need a new bowl lift cam, on the n-50 which is a hobart table-top model pull top off pedestle, you will see the cam you have to remove one cotter pin and remove one split pin install new cam reassemble

Kitchen aid--heavy duty mixer

The beater is held in place by a pin and spring arrangement. Lift and twist the beater. If that doesn't work, the pin is trying to come out...and is wedging against the beater. Tap the pin back in a bit, and the beater should release.

I have a kitchen aid stand mixer and the head jiggles when it is on and the entire unit "hops" and shakes at high speed. what's going on and how do i fix it?

This sounds like an issue of beater to bowl adjustment, which can come out of alignment naturally over time and with use of the machine.

If the flat beater is striking the bottom of your bowl, this may cause the locking mechanism to loosen and may cause the mixing head to "bounce" during use.

Your Use and Care Guide will cover the "beater to bowl adjustment," which you can do at home in a few minutes with a flathead screwdriver.

The adjustment screw fell off

There is no adjustment screw. That should be all the way up so that it will compress the spring and lock the lift lever un the up position. You will need to put the spring, washer and then the Nylock nut back on, I use a standard socket with some paper wadded in the bottom and over one side to hold the nut it it while I screw it back on.
