The barrel isnt spinning on my hoover quattro system 1300 washing machine...any ideas?

I've tried this but nothing fell out or stuck. tried on tumble dry and still doesnt spin on this. when hand spin it the wheel turns quite freely.

is your doorlock light comming on wont spin if door dont lock and dois it wash and do you you hear it humming while its not turning
well try to turn the tub by hand and look to see if something small like a nail,screw, etc has fallen down in one of the holes and jamming the inner and outer tubs together

its a front loader, bought about 6 years ago. area has very hard water so have switched onto hotest wash with white vinegar to see if that helped but then noticed barrell wasnt spinning. its a powerjet washer dryer.
