Is the signal being applied to the set when you try to access the PC input. A lot of sets won't let a PC input be accessed unless there is an active signal.

NO COLOR displayed from External Input (BLUE RAY/DVD/CABLE and PC) but COLOR IS present in Menu Options?

If it did work before, it should work now. But if you are connecting a new device, make sure you are using the right inputs.
Yoou still can get the manual online, but to point out what I mean I send one picture about how to connect (Only one example) where you have to use 3 colours on the cable.
When connecting a video recorder (low quality, you only need 1 colour, for the composite entry (Yellow)

Greenish picture using DTV input

If the set is normal on AV inputs or thru the coax input--but has problem in the DTV(HD) I would suspect whatever is giving it signal(it is component input) is the problem--the component input for DTV could cause this problem--red,green, blue carry not only video but chroma information---if you are using a direct TV box of some kind return it and get another---only other possible cause(Long shot) would be to do a factory reset on thisTV--All
Mitsubishi sets have an option menu which resets the whole set back to condition it was when new in the box--If you want to try this verify model number to me and I will tell you how to do it--Remember: the set is not smart enough to know which input you are using--if you have a problem only on 1 input--it usually is not the set--it usually is what is connected to that input.

When i press av on my remote control i have tv ext and digital options but where has the options for ext2 and 3 etc gone

Dont know your specific model, **** some new tv's will only allow access to av inputs that is connected with cables and a component. Move your cabling from ext 1 to ext 2 or 3 and see if you can access the av ext. If still no access on ext 2/3 the av input board or backup memory could be faulty.

Want to run my dtv receiver through new digital converter box.

You will not be able to record local station from a DTV converter connected thru a directv receiver unless there is a a/v input on the directv samsung receiver. Also check the user manual for this receiver if recording from an external source such as a DTV converter box is possible. The answer to seperating the DTV converter box from the directv samsung receiver is possible if your tv has multiple inputs. Try connecting the DTV box to the RF input and the directv samsung box to an a/v input then change inputs using the tv remote. you will need an av cable (yellow/ red/white) for the directv box and a rf jumper cable for the DTV box.

Pc ready

There is a PC/DTV RGB input area with two audio jack inputs.  The input is a standard 15 pin PC jack. Hook it up to your PC video card input.  You can get the audio cable from Best Buy or a electronics store...split RCA on one end and the headphone jacks on the other to your PC. Then select the TV/Video source button on your remote until you see PC/DTV YPbPr screen appear.  It will search for the signal, find your PC and display the screen. You may have to go to MENUE on your remote to adjust the HDTV (1080i) frequency.... an option that only appears if there is something hooked up to the PC/DTV RGB signal input.
