TV Has No Picture - Samsung BE40PSNB

We have a 42in Samsung that just lost picture and will not come back. We have tried several other connection types all verified to be working. he on-screen menu does NOT show and the TV will occasionally turn off when the menu button is pressed. The only this it seems to do is turn on, tint the screen dark blue and produce heat. While an extra heater is nice in the winter, being able to watch TV is preferred. Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Thank You

My Samsung TV stopped working - no picture.

If your Samsung TV UN43NU6900FX2A is not showing a picture and you hear a low noise squeaking sound when you turn it on, there may be several possible causes. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the power: Make sure that the TV is properly connected to a power source and that the power outlet is functioning properly. Try plugging in another device to the same outlet to confirm that it is working.
  2. Check the connections: Ensure that all cables and connections are properly connected and secure. Sometimes loose cables can cause issues.
  3. Reset the TV: Try resetting the TV to its default settings. You can do this by unplugging it from the power source for a few minutes, then plugging it back in and turning it on.
  4. Check for updates: Check for any available firmware or software updates for your TV. These updates can sometimes fix issues with the TV.
  5. Contact Samsung support: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you can contact Samsung support for further assistance. They may be able to offer additional troubleshooting steps or arrange for a repair or replacement.
If your TV is still under warranty, you may be able to have it repaired or replaced

Rca 42in full hd lcd picture flickers

If the picture on your TV flickers, there may be a simple fix. Here are some possible answers and suggested solutions:

1. Your set-top box may need a simple reboot. Unplug the power connection to the set-top box for about 30 seconds. Reconnect the power and turn the set-top box back on.

2. Check all of your cables for a loose connection by tightening each one with your fingers.Flickers can sometimes be caused by bends in rigid cables, too.

3. If your picture flickers to a black or blue screen, you could have a bad set-top box. Contact your cable or satellite service provider about installing a new one.

4. If you still have audio, the flickering could also mean that you have a failing backlight.

For additional troubleshooting information, check out the chart at TV flickering for more solutions. I hope this helps!

Try several inputs. See if you have the sam result. If you are watching with an antenna make sure all is connected and setup is set up.

Try set up for the TV with its' remote. If it works on the blank screen that means an input problem.

I have a 42in plasma samsung and somehow have sound but not picture, need help. Thanks!

This can be from the power supply, main processor, screen drive, or the screen itself.

The modules must be tried to determine the defective one.
