No signal i just got 2 samung tvs 46 inch model nt 4671f and 32 inch model lnt3242h playstation works on on the 46 inch using hdmi cable but will not work on the 32 inch error says media not supported can any body help.

If you are able to connect your PS3 to another TV using the same HDMI cable that would rule out your PS3, if it works.....or
does the PS3 itself have any settings that perhaps need to be set to an HDMI output as opposed to Composite or SCART etc?
Also have a look at the HDMI settings in theh TV menu too.

Assuming your TV will support 720p signals, check how you have the TV connected to the Playstation 3. Change your video cable to component video or HDMI, depending on the TV. (The Composite input is limited to 480i (SD) pictures. The same is true for a SCART connection.) Put the TV to the new input by pressing the Input Source button on the TV Remote or through the menu depending on your TV.

You may have to do the first of these steps before changing your cables and the TV input source (I'm not sure). On the Playstation, select Settings and then Display Settings.Choose your video output (component or HDMI). Next select all resolution that the TV can use. (Most 32" TVs only do 720p. There are some that can do 1080i or 1080p.) Confirm the video connection works. Then Save your settings.

For screen captures of the steps, see: http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps3/3_15/settings/videooutput.html . You should always turn off the TV and the Playstation before swapping the cables. (So you may need to stop and save after setting the output to component video. Then return to the Display Settings menu.)

That HDMI connection hub port it some how got short and it dead.Tries other HDMI connections hubs.If all are like that they are all dead.All HDMI hubs ports connections are link together.If one dies usually all HDMI hubs dies together.Than ur tv Tuner signal board will not have anymore HDMI hubs functions connections at all,none of the HDMI hubs will work again ever.Have happen to mine Samung tv,so now i have to stop using HDMI hubs all together.

as for the vertical stripes get a professional to take a look at that as for the hdmi you need a hdmi receiver or dvd player and connect to your tv via an hdmi cable to get the hd signal on your tv

Most TVs choose the resolution based on the signal coming in. Be careful if you try and use 1080P. Not all TVs support it. 1080P is only on HDMI. set the playstation to 1080i before connection.
Some TVs and Playstation HDMI do not mix well due to software in the HDMI ports. Try RGB cables.

I solve it already my problem by connecting my ps3 to an 32 inches lcdtv and I change the videosetting to my ps3 to default setting because before when I had my sony bravia 32 inches I changed it to 1080p via HDMI cable signal...After I changed to default settings I connected it again to my own LG lcdtv 19 inches but it sadly 1080p is not so very much supported but anyway I can play now ps3 games...

Your TV only has a DVI input, not an HDMI which PS3 has as an output. You can buy a HDMI to DVI adapter and connect the HDMI out of the PS3 to the DVI input of the TV. To get the true HighDef video you need a HDMI input on the TV to enjoy the full capacity of the Blu ray capabilities of the PS3. DVI came out before the HDMI standard and your picture will look good but not like HDMI. I have the same problem with my samsung 65 inch. I Bought the wrong technology.
