How do I switch between internal memory and memory card?

Hello. I have an empty memory card I have used several times inside my panasonic lumix dmc fs5. But I am getting a message that says internal memory full. How do I switch between internal memory and my memory card? Could something be wrong with my card ?

When you remove the card, can you review the pictures that are on the internal memory? If you can and you want to save them, download them to your computer. Then, with the memory card still out of the camera, format the internal memory.

Ty Price - Can you help me download them to my computer? The pics show in the internal memory when an SD card is NOT in the camera. However, they do not show when I put an SD card in so there is no obvious option for me to move the pictures from the internal memory to the SD Card in order for me to upload the pics to my computer. The whole problem is that I DO NOT have the cord needed to easily plug the camera into my computer so I MUST do it by moving the pics from internal to teh SD card. Can you HELP PLEASE?

Oh, I did not mention that when there is no card in there, the copy option is grayed out so I cannot choose it. - So the option does indeed show yet I cannot choose it. I CANNOT lose these pictures as they are beyond important so please tell me what I can do to get them loaded on computer so they are safe.

My Panasonic Lumix DMC FS 12 will not take any more pictures it says the inbuilt memory is full. How do I clear the memory?

With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions. This will erase all the pictures. You should use a memory card from now on and never go back to the internal memory.

Hi, when i put in my memory card for my camera (DMC-LS70) it says "memory card is locked" how do i unlock it this never happend before.

There are several possible causes for "memory card locked", "memory card error", or "no memory card". Some include trying to use of a 4GB SDHC card with an older camera made before SDHC format came out. Others include problems with the tiny slide switch on the side of the card, or the electrical contact switch internal to the camera. The problem may also arise from simple formatting problems if the card has never been formatted in the camera (note that this will also erase the card). Troubleshooting tips for this problem may be found at this link.

Help! My pictures are trapped on my digital camera!!

On PLAY mode, with a valid memory card inside, press MENU/SET, goto to COPY, select internal--> memory card, select YES, and then MENU/SET.
You better charge your battery before doing copy. Don't turn off the camera during copying.
Good luck.
